Public land in Wind River Country includes areas managed by the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, State of Wyoming and the Wind River Indian Reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shoshone National Forest is the nation\u2019s first national forest and supports a wide range of recreation, including climbing, backpacking and horse packing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parts of Bridger-Teton National Forest are also accessible near Dubois via Union Pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
