The 132nd Lander Pioneer Days Rodeo, known as \u201cThe World\u2019s Oldest Paid Rodeo,\u201d will be held July 3 and 4 in Lander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be the traditional western rodeo events including bull riding, saddle and ranch bronc riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing and breakaway, team and mixed team ropings. An exciting event this year is Women\u2019s Ranch Bronc Riding. On both evenings the ever-popular Indian Relay Races will feature men\u2019s, women\u2019s and youth relay races. Teams from the Wind River Indian Reservation, as well as other communities, race bareback at a high speed around the track exchanging horses after each lap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
