The hunt starts one half-hour before sunrise and ends one half-hour after sunset. All coyotes must be brought to the Shoshoni Recreation District Building and weighed in by 6:30 p.m.

The cost is $60 per team, and teams are made up of two people. $5 per person for mangiest mutt contest.
