Join the Dubois Museum to visit the Jakey’s Fork Homestead. Start the morning with biscuits and a cup of cowboy coffee at Jakey’s Fork Homestead, while Carolyn Gillette and Cheryl O’Brien acquaint us with the history of this area. Then visit historic places along the Jakey’s Fork, including the cabin where Butch Cassidy spent the Christmas of 1889, a 100-year old schoolhouse, the original Dubois Post Office site and the old Atlantic Yellowstone Pacific Road used by early travelers.

This is part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series program. Spaces are limited. Bring a sack lunch. $15 per person.

To register, call the Dubois Museum at (307) 455-2284.
