Biologist Nichole Bjornlie shares work conducted by Wyoming Game and Fish Department. Traditionally identified as a short-grass prairie species, the swift fox was in decline in the late 19th and 20th centuries due to loss of native prairie habitat and widespread predators. Remote cameras are documenting an increase in current swift fox numbers.
