January 28 @ 3:00 pm Free
The Fremont Symphony Orchestra, under the long-time direction of Rebecca Murdock, is presenting a program of solo and chamber music works on Saturday, January 28 at 3 p.m.
According to Ms. Murdock, the recital will include works by Bach, Telemann, Popper, Senaille, Hall and others. The recital is an opportunity for individual members to perform as soloists or in small chamber music ensembles. String, woodwind, and brass musicians will be performing including the Central Wyoming Brass Quintet and FSO Strings. In addition, a trombone trio, a trumpet/clarinet duo, and multiple soloists – including Murdock – will perform.
The Musicale is a fundraiser for the Orchestra, which relies on donor support for its annual budget. Admission to the concert is free, though concertgoers are encouraged to drop a donation in the violin case at the recital to help support the local orchestra.
