NOTE: CANCELED for 2021 due to ice conditions
As the lake ice thickens, you can watch exciting Ice Races at Boysen State Park. These races are held when the lake ice conditions permit. Bring the whole family to see thrill-seeking dare-devil motorcycle racers on Boysen Reservoir. Separate races for kids on 4-wheelers and small motorcycles. Dress warm as there’s no warming hut. Concessions on-site. Leashed dogs ok. CALL TO CONFIRM CONDITIONS.
Directions to at Boysen State Park at Fremont Bay: From Hwy. 26 /789 turn north on Bass Lake Road, then turn right on Loop One Road to Fremont Bay.
State Park day-use fees: $4 per resident vehicle, or $6 non-resident vehicle. The self-pay station is on Loop One Road.
*These races will end when the lake ice conditions change so call to confirm in advance.
