Oakley Boycott will be sitting in complete silence and still movement from with no breaks be a part of the closing day reception of “Wild Silence.”

“Silence” an endurance art piece based on the work of Marina Abramovic. Anyone is welcome to come and sit for as long as they want or need and leave whenever they want or need during Art Center hours. Once seated, please no talking, gesturing, touching, miming, napping, eating, drinking, or cell phone use.  All photography, videography, painting, drawing, and photography are welcome and encouraged.

Please wear a mask and maintain a physical distance of 6ft from all in attendance.

*SILENCE will take place in “The Sinks” of Sinks Canyon State Park. Open to the public. 

SILENCE has been made possible in part by @wyomingartscouncil COVID-19 support. This iteration of SILENCE is presented on presently colonized Eastern Shoshone Tribe and Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming land.
