DESCRIPTION:Every September\, hunters gather in Lander and compete in the One Shot Antelope Hunt – a competitive hunt that puts eight three-person teams against each other. The task of each team member is to harvest a pronghorn antelope with one shot. The One Shot Antelope Hunt is a long-standing tradition with a powerful alumni list. Those who are invited to participate come to shoot\, hunt and raise money for wildlife conservation. This is a ticketed event held at several locations. Drive to Sinks Canyon as a group and explore the Boulder Choke Cave. Explore the inside of the cave and learn about the geological features and natural history of Sinks Canyon. This trek will be inside a cave\, so please dress accordingly. Some level of physical fitness is required\, such as the ability to crawl on hands and knees and to slide down a short length of rope.
