DESCRIPTION:During the fall harvests throughout history\, corn husks were gathered and used to create simple dolls for children. Every part of the corn plant was used since corn was domesticated centuries ago. This project will encourage children to use natural materials to create a fun traditional toy. Visit the Dubois Museum for some fall craft fun. For children ages six to 17. $3 per child. Materials will be provided.

All proceeds are used by Lander Library Friends Association to support Lander Library projects and programming. \nPLEASE NOTE: IF THE LANDER PUBLIC LIBRARY IS CLOSED\, THE BOOK NOOK WILL BE CLOSED AS WELL.

Guests should arrive before 5:30 p.m. at the museum and anticipate walking for approximately two hours. Please wear warm clothes. $15 per person.
