Le sanctuaire est situ\u00e9 sur un ranch d&#039;\u00e9levage de b\u00e9tail de 567 hectares. Il abrite 250 chevaux sauvages et est l&#039;un des quatre seuls p\u00e2turages publics hors des sentiers battus aux \u00c9tats-Unis.
