Les terres environnantes de Dubois abritent la plus grande harde de mouflons d'Am\u00e9rique des Rocheuses en hiver, en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Bighorn Sheep Center travaille avec d'autres organisations pour employer des strat\u00e9gies telles que la recherche sur les maladies, la surveillance des populations, des projets d'am\u00e9lioration de l'habitat, la r\u00e9installation de mouflons sauvages et des efforts pour r\u00e9duire les interactions entre les mouflons sauvages et domestiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mission du Centre d'interpr\u00e9tation national du mouflon d'Am\u00e9rique est d'\u00e9duquer le public sur les moutons sauvages, les terres sauvages et la conservation. Des visites guid\u00e9es aux pr\u00e9sentations scolaires, le Centre enseigne aux personnes de tous \u00e2ges le mouflon d'Am\u00e9rique. Parmi leurs visites et programmes les plus populaires figurent le Trek annuel du pi\u00e8ge \u00e0 mouflons myst\u00e8re, le Camp Bighorn et la retraite des photographes de Wind River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Centre ne cesse d'\u00e9largir ses programmes \u00e9ducatifs pour enfants, dont des conf\u00e9renciers invit\u00e9s et des webinaires.
