Das 132. Lander Pioneer Days Rodeo, bekannt als “The World's Oldest Paid Rodeo”, wird am 3. und 4. Juli in Lander stattfinden.

Zu den traditionellen Western-Rodeo-Veranstaltungen gehören Bullenreiten, Sattel- und Ranch-Bronc-Reiten, Ochsenreiten, Barrel Racing sowie Breakaway-, Team- und Mixed Team Roping. Ein spannendes Ereignis in diesem Jahr ist das Ranch Bronc Riding für Frauen. An beiden Abenden finden die beliebten Indianer-Staffelrennen für Männer, Frauen und Jugendliche statt. Teams aus dem Wind River Indianerreservat und anderen Gemeinden reiten ohne Sattel in hohem Tempo um die Strecke und tauschen nach jeder Runde die Pferde aus.
