Plant Walk with John Mionczynski

Join South Pass City State Historic Site staff for a guided walk along the Flood & Hindle Trail in South Pass City. Ethnobotanist, John Mionczynski, will lead this trek and teach about Native American food ways and subsistence gathering.

Meet at the Dance Hall in South Pass City for this hiking trek on the Flood & Hindle trail, which is an easy trail that is 1.7 miles long. Bring water, good shoes, snacks, a trail stool if you have one and your curiosity.

The trek is limited to 25 people. Registration is required.
