In celebration of the life and ministry of the Rev. John Roberts, the 2nd Annual John Roberts Festival will be held at the Shoshone Episcopal Mission.
Festivities include a lunch of Native American fare and sacred Native music; special guest speaker John Washakie, the great-grandson of Chief Washakie; a premier of “WHITE ROBE,” a powerful new contemporary art exhibition on the life and work of the Rev. Dr. John Roberts by celebrated Irish artist Brian Whelan, who will be speaking. Additionally, we will be blessing the newly restored Mission Chapel, the oldest church building in Wyoming.
