Explore the gorgeous views and amazing history of the Upper Wind River Valley including the Tie Hack history and ruins around Lava Mountain and Triangle C Ranch west of Dubois.

Railroad ties were cut and used for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad between Lander, Wy, and Blunt, SD.

Moderate hiking, bear spray, bug spray, hiking boots, trekking poles, water, and lunch are required.  Social distancing encouraged.
