This month's lecture is titled "Glories in the Mountains" and is given by Daniel Mathews. Daniel Mathews comes from a line of botanically trained forebears, from whom he learned names of trailside plants in childhood. His writing, informed by thousands of scientific papers as well as six decades on trail and off-trail in the West, dives deeper into science than other field guides, while also showing more humor and imagination.

Join instructor Peyton Loss for an introduction to hand building items with clay. This class teaches you skills to take a soft piece of clay through to a glazed finished item through a variety of projects. The first class of this series, on April 18th will be held from 12:30-3:00 p.m. instead of 9:00-11:30 a.m.
