National Museum of Military Vehicles and Central Wyoming College Presents: A Look at Anti-Tank Weapons

National Museum of Military Vehicles and Central Wyoming College Presents: A Look at Anti-Tank Weapons — “Stop’em In Their Tracks!”

Immediately after the first tank appeared on the field of battle, developments of weapons to stop them began. Anti-tank weapons have come in many sizes and designs. This program will concentrate on shoulder fired anti-tank weapons. Take the rare opportunity to have a hands-on experience with those weapons as developed from World War 2 through the modern era. The National Museum of Military Vehicles “hands-on history” programs are “bag lunch” programs- feel free to bring your own lunch and spend the entire day at the Museum.

Instructor Rae G. Whitley, a curator at the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois, WY, will lead you through each of these hands-on history programs. His many years as a public historian and U.S. Army veteran, provide a unique and fun “edutainment” experience. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to feel history as he shows you artifacts while explaining their historical relevance. This “preview” opportunity will allow you to encounter the items before they go on exhibit.

Tickets are $10 and are available at cwcdubois.eventbrite.com.
