This month's lecture is titled "Glories in the Mountains" and is given by Daniel Mathews. Daniel Mathews comes from a line of botanically trained forebears, from whom he learned names of trailside plants in childhood. His writing, informed by thousands of scientific papers as well as six decades on trail and off-trail in the West, dives deeper into science than other field guides, while also showing more humor and imagination.

This class teaches you skills to take a soft piece of clay through to a glazed finished item through a variety of projects. The Fremont County Pioneer Museum is hosting this Bailey Tire/Pit Stop Children’s Exploration Series program for children to learn about the history of branding and learn to create their own brand. Enrollment is limited. Call the Pioneer Museum at (307) 332-3373 to reserve your spot. This class is $5 per child and open to the public.
