Wyoming Women’s 5 Shot Rabbit Hunt

The 43rd Wyoming Women’s 5 Shot Rabbit Hunt! This event unites women from all over the beautiful state of Wyoming, and allows them an opportunity for mentoring, teaching and developing camaraderie amongst women through hunting rabbits. Proceeds from this event are used to promote self-sufficiency of women and create more opportunities for women and girls in Wyoming while also supporting outdoor recreation. “Gotta get da wabbits!”

Friday January 14th, 2022
6:00pm – Team Check-in & Social Begins. Silent Auctions and Raffles continue all night.
7:30pm – Calcutta & Live Auctions Begin

Saturday January 15th, 2022
All Teams must CALL-IN to official by 7:00am
7:30am – HUNT CLOCK BEGINS
12:00pm – 4:00pm – Teams must check-in with field-dressed rabbits
6:00pm – Awards Banquet begins

Sunday January 16th, 2022
9:00am – Mentor Hunt for Youth and First-Time Hunters to get the experience of
harvesting cottontail rabbits. (Pre-Registration Required)

Team Information
Teams consist of 2 Women (14 years of age and older).
Each Team is required to bring a basket for the silent auction.
A Judge will accompany each team in the field and will be randomly assigned after the Calcutta.
Each Team member will possess a valid Wyoming Small Game License, Conservation Stamp (if required) & Hunter Education Certificate (or Mentor Paperwork)
Rabbits may be harvested from any legal location that is OUTSIDE any Municipality Town Limits.
Each Team member is allocated 5 bullets with the goal of 10 total COTTONTAIL Rabbits in the least amount of cumulative time.
