Where is the Book Nook? The Book Nook is located in the Lander Library on the lower level of the Carnegie Building and is accessible by stairs and elevator. What is the Book Nook? The Book Nook has a good selection of used books in all subject areas, DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and, often, games and puzzles. Dive into the transformative beauty of pottery and ceramics at the Lander Art Center from March 7 to 29. From wheel-thrown vessels to hand-built sculptures, this exhibition is open exclusively to pottery and clay mediums. Tuesdays from 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 7 p.m., Fridays from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Fremont County Pioneer Museum is celebrating Women’s History Month by hosting a Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program, a celebration and educational meeting for women business owners to connect and network with one another. A presentation will be given on the impacts made by local women in the community. Tea and refreshments will be available. This event is free and open to all women's small business owners. Unleash your creativity with Lander Burton in this dynamic watercolor class at the Lander Art Center. Designed for beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this course combines the beauty of watercolor with inspiration from still life, landscapes and art history. Through hands-on projects, you’ll master the basics of watercolor technique, explore color theory and learn to compose your own unique works of art. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from January 21 to April 15.
