Where is the Book Nook? The Book Nook is located in the Lander Library on the lower level of the Carnegie Building and is accessible by stairs and elevator. What is the Book Nook? The Book Nook has a good selection of used books in all subject areas, DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and, often, games and puzzles. Although there is no charge for books and other items, donations are much appreciated. All proceeds are used by Lander Library Friends…

Hear the latest in conservation and biodiversity science from three University of Wyoming Masters and Ph.D. students. Each will present their projects in 15-minute engaging talks, followed by a Q&A. This is a free event and a relaxed opportunity for the public to hear the latest in biodiversity science. Other Science Cafes are often hosted around the state, so stay tuned through the Biodiversity Institute page. Presented by the UW Biodiversity Institute.

The Garden Expo is an annual event featuring a trade show and educational workshops.  It is for folks who enjoy gardening, spending time in their backyard or recreating in the great outdoors. It is free and family friendly. Additionally, there will be a petting zoo of barnyard animals, wagon rides and a “Kid’s Corner.” Concessions will be available for folks who want to make a day of it.
