Where is the Book Nook? The Book Nook is located in the Lander Library on the lower level of the Carnegie Building and is accessible by stairs and elevator. What is the Book Nook? Swingin' Fridays with WyoJazz The LOR Foundation and Lander Senior Center present Swingin' Fridays, a night filled with dancing to Swing Era (1920s-40s) music performed by the WyoJazz combo. Free and open to all ages. Refreshments will be served.

The Lander Valley Farmers Market is a volunteer-run, weekly farmers market that serves the Lander community from June to October. Featuring produce, meat, eggs, dairy, flowers, baked goods, cottage foods and crafts locally produced in Fremont County. Every Saturday morning at 3rd Street in Downtown Lander. The Lander Pioneer Museum presents this Discovery Speaker Series talk on Nate Champion and the Johnson County War, 1892, on Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. The Johnson County War is one of the most infamous events in Wyoming’s history. Author Mark Warren will give a talk at the Lander Pioneer Museum about the events of the battle between large cattle barons, and the smaller ranchers.
