Pioneer Museum: 2nd Annual Apple City Festival
Lander was known as the “Apple City” for the high number of orchards and the apples - an important part of the agricultural economy in this area. A wonderful part of Lander’s history will be explored with speakers, an apple pie contest (cash prizes), local apple cider and apple samples, kids crafts, and a petting zoo. 4th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
The 4th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is brought to you by the Community Engagement Committee. The tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m. at Jason's Park (behind the Depot). Watch Santa get a lift from the Riverton Fire Department to the top of the tree. Event will be followed by a Lantern Lighting Festival on Main Street!

17th Annual Festival of Trees Family Night
Please join us at the Chandelle Event Center located by the Riverton Regional Airport. We will have pictures with Santa Clause, face painting, cotton candy, cake walk, holiday crafts, cookie decorating, elegantly decorated trees, refreshments and soup for dinner. This year’s theme is “Fill the Sleigh”. We are asking our local community to please donate non perishable items to Fill our Sleigh with food for people in need for the Holiday season.

December 3rd is the Gala Event for individuals and corporate sponsors, which includes dinner, a silent auction, entertainment and a live auction of exquisite and beautifully decorated themed Christmas trees and wreaths. “Fill the Sleigh” donations accepted. VIP admission 5:30 to 9 p.m. General admission 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Downtown Lander will be sparkling with Christmas lights and holiday decorations. The Christmas Parade will be led by Santa. Folks can also catch live music, refreshments and take a hayride. Parade starts near 10th St and goes to Centennial Park at 2nd St.

Fiddle Contest 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come enjoy awesome entertainment with highly talented individuals. Seven divisions competing, open to all ages.
