Fremont County Museums: First Fridays
Take the kids to any of our Fremont County Museums (Dubois Museum, Pioneer Museum in Lander, Riverton Museum) on the first Friday of every month from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for free admission with at least one paying adult. This program is sponsored by State Farm in Lander (Justus Jacobs) and State Farm in Riverton (Tyler Watson). Happy First Fridays!

The WYRiverton Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center is hosting an open house at its new location, the Wind River Heritage Center. Join them in celebrating its new location at this summer kick-off party. The celebration will include beverages by the Cedar Bar, Veterans Hall food concessions, hatchet throwing, PAWS pet adoptions, live music by Jesse Corbett & The Split Rock Boys, Kids' Treasure Hunt, arts and crafts, tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting) and much more.

The Fremont County Spring Fair is the first carnival of the year. Advanced tickets $30, tickets at the Fair Office $35. The Bull Riding Extravaganza takes place June 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. The Figure 8 Frenzy takes place June 3 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children.

Dubois 4th of July Celebration
Enjoy the greatest little small-town July 4 in the West. The day kicks off with Kiwanis Kids’ Games at the Dubois Town Park. Shop around downtown and check out the Opportunity Shop’s Annual Sidewalk Sale. Spectators line the street to enjoy the Dubois 4th of July Parade that takes place at 2 p.m. on Ramshorn Street and goes from Dubois Town Park to the First Street intersection. Head to South Pass City for a weekend of enjoyment.
