Wyoming Outdoor Weekend & Expo
The Wyoming Outdoor Weekend & Expo is a free family-friendly event that celebrates the kickoff to summer and highlights outdoor recreation opportunities and vendors at the Lander Community and Convention Center. Sinks Canyon Trail Races
The Sinks Canyon Trail Races start and finish in beautiful Sinks Canyon, the corridor to Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains. Fremont Area Road Tour Group Ride
Join the weekly Fremont Area Road Tour Group Ride with local legend, Chuck Schuster, the first President of the Lander Cycling Club. He and his wife, Karla Wagner will show you a great ride in Lander with the locals who know it best. Meet at Gannett Peak Sports (371 Main Street) at 5:45 p.m. Group cycling ride starts at 6 p.m.

The International Climbers’ Festival is the longest-running climbers’ festival in the world. The festival was started by Todd Skinner and a handful of Lander locals in 1994 to celebrate the community of climbing. The fun includes climbing clinics, a dyno-climbing competition, a trade fair, a Limestone rodeo, yoga, live music, an art crawl on Main Street and world-class rock climbing.
