Joe Brandl’s “Snowshoeing and Outdoor Skills” will show how winter survival shelters can save a life. This event includes information on what to carry in a pack, how to signal for help when in need and how to construct simple snow shelters that can provide protection in the event a night is spent unexpectedly outdoors in the mountains.  Meet at the Falls Creek Campground. Lander Roll & Slide Poker Ride

Join us for a brand new Lander winter event! This event is for skiers and fat bikers looking to have a little fun this winter. Participants will collect cards throughout Sinks Canyon to build the best poker hand and meet up at the Lander Bar for prizes and live music. WRVC Adventure Trek: Riverton Historic Walking Tour

Join the Riverton Museum and local historians to visit a variety of historic buildings and homes in Riverton on this Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek. Learn the stories of the people who lived and worked in Riverton’s glorious past. The WRVC is a sponsor of the Wyoming Backcountry Discovery Routes, an organization that specializes in adventure motorcycle routes. Wyoming was added to the organization’s routes in February. As part of the new Wyoming route, a film tour has been planned. The WRVC, in partnership with Wyoming Outdoor Recreation and Wyoming Off-Road Racers Association, is hosting a screening on Saturday, May 21 at 5 p.m. at the Dennison Lodge in Dubois. Fremont County Historical Society’s 2022 Trek
