Fremont County Museums: First Fridays
Take the kids to any of our Fremont County Museums (Dubois Museum, Pioneer Museum in Lander, Riverton Museum) on the first Friday of every month from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for free admission with at least one paying adult. This program is sponsored by State Farm in Lander (Justus Jacobs) and State Farm in Riverton (Tyler Watson). Happy First Fridays!

Where is the Book Nook? The Book Nook is located in the Lander Library on the lower level of the Carnegie Building and is accessible by stairs and elevator. What is the Book Nook? The Book Nook has a good selection of used books in all subject areas, DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and, often, games and puzzles. This November, the Lander Art Center invites you to witness the evolution of 'Art of Home,' an ever-growing exhibition celebrating what makes a home through the lens of local Native artists. Beginning on November 1st, this unique show will unfold over time, with artists continuously adding diverse works. Join the Eastern Shoshone Tribe for the annual tree lighting event at the Eastern Shoshone Business Council Headquarters. Enjoy treats, hot cocoa, raffles and a round dance. Lights will go on at sunset after the countdown. The event takes place in the main entrance lobby area. All are welcome.
