Air Travel & Airports


Central Wyoming Regional Airport (RIW) is located about 30 miles from Lander and 75 miles from Dubois. It offers daily service connecting through Denver. Additional commercial airports are located in Casper, Cheyenne, Cody and Jackson. Charter and municipal airports are also available in Lander and Dubois.

Rental Cars, Shuttles & Taxis


Rental cars are available in Lander and Riverton, making it easy to travel between communities.

The Wind River Transportation Authority provides fixed bus routes, airport shuttles and group transportation across Fremont County and the Wind River Indian Reservation.
