The Riverton Museum is hosting Lea Cavalli Schoenewald for this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series. Schoenewald is a retired teacher who recently published her book “Lost Coal District of Gebo, Crosby, and Kirby.” She will be telling the story of coal camps in Hot Springs and Fremont Counties, particularly looking at the life of miners and their families. She will delve into the local and family history of Gebo and Hudson by sharing her own experiences of Gebo as a child. This event is free and open to the public.
