The Dubois Badlands Wilderness Study Area is small area with just seven square miles of multi-colored desert and otherworldly landscapes. The trail loop is just 3.8 miles with minimal elevation gain and is the best Wyoming hiking route in the study area if you’re looking for views of colorful cliffbands.
