Guns, Boots & Brands
Join the Lander chapter of Kiwanis International as they present their 12th annual "Guns, Boots & Brands" fundraiser. Over the Past eleven years, this event has raised over $150,000, all of which has been generously donated to support Fremont County youth, reflecting their commitment to serving the youngest members of the community. This year's event promises an evening of dinner and drinks, silent and live auctions featuring art from local artists, entertainment from local acts and much more. For more…

Where is the Book Nook? The Book Nook is located in the Lander Library on the lower level of the Carnegie Building and is accessible by stairs and elevator. What is the Book Nook? The Book Nook has a good selection of used books in all subject areas, DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and, often, games and puzzles. Visit the Riverton Museum and see the dozens of carved pumpkins donated by local businesses. Admission is free and open to the public. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available.
Find out more »Haunted Downtown Riverton Adventure Trek with Alma Law
In addition to the Annual Pumpkin Trail, the Riverton Museum is hosting Alma Law and his Haunted Downtown Walking Tour as part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series. Alma will be leading a walking tour around Riverton and telling many local scary stories not included in his “Fremont Haunts” talk. Guests should arrive at 6 p.m. at the museum and anticipate walking for approximately two hours around Riverton. $10 per person. Reservations are required.
