Where is the Book Nook? The Book Nook is located in the Lander Library on the lower level of the Carnegie Building and is accessible by stairs and elevator. What is the Book Nook? The Book Nook has a good selection of used books in all subject areas, DVDs, audio books, music CDs, and, often, games and puzzles. Although there is no charge for books and other items, donations are much appreciated. All proceeds are used by Lander Library Friends…

The Riverton Museum will be holding its eighth annual Fall Fun Fest at the Riverton Museum from 2-4pm on October 26th as part of the Bailey Tire/Pit Stop Children’s Exploration Series. Families are encouraged to stop by at any time from 2-4pm in their Halloween costumes to visit the museum and enjoy crafts, games, cookies, and hot chocolate. This event is free and open to the public.

The Yablonski Memorial Library Open House is “Night of the Living Books” with costumes encouraged. Come as your favorite character from a book or story. Cash prizes for the first 50 people who arrive in costume. Everyone is welcome.

Shoshoni Recreation District #24 Haunted House
Every year, the Shoshoni Recreation District hosts an annual haunted house in the basement of the Senior Center. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. $5 per person, or $3 with a canned food donation.
