Enhanced Story Time takes place every Wednesday at the Lander Library in the Children’s Theater. Stories, rhymes and songs start at 10:30 a.m., followed by sensory activities.

Dress up in costumes, walk through the spooky maze, listen to ghost stories, gather treats, take a hayride, do crafts, shoot pumpkins from a slingshot and more. An event for the entire family. $5 per person.

Why do we carve pumpkins around Halloween? What is the origin of Halloween? Let’s answer those questions and more as we get into the holiday spirit and carve some pumpkins. $3 per child. Advanced registration is required. Materials will be provided.

Visit the Riverton Museum and see the dozens of carved pumpkins donated by local businesses. Admission is free and open to the public. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available.
Find out more »Haunted Downtown Riverton Adventure Trek with Alma Law
In addition to the Annual Pumpkin Trail, the Riverton Museum is hosting Alma Law and his Haunted Downtown Walking Tour as part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series. Alma will be leading a walking tour around Riverton and telling many local scary stories not included in his “Fremont Haunts” talk. Guests should arrive at 6 p.m. at the museum and anticipate walking for approximately two hours around Riverton. $10 per person. Reservations are required.

Ethete Peewee Rodeo presents: Halloween Dummy Roping Jackpot. Age divisions include: 0-5 6-9 10-14 15-19 There will also be a costume contest and cake walks. All skill levels welcome!
