Stan Grove gives an interesting and insightful program overlooked by historians. Artifacts carried by the mails may shed an interesting light on the ways and manners of a given time. “Postal history” shows how the everyday mail has been addressed, conveyed, and delivered. Riverton Museum: Northern Arapaho Tribe’s Historic Preservation Cemetery Mapping Project
The tribal cemetery mapping project began in the summer of 2019 to map every cemetery to identify every grave on the Wind River Reservation to help families identify relatives whom they previously had trouble locating. Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series.

Lander was known as the “Apple City” for the high number of orchards and the apples - an important part of the agricultural economy in this area. A wonderful part of Lander’s history will be explored with speakers, an apple pie contest (cash prizes), local apple cider and apple samples, kids crafts, and a petting zoo.
