See the Night Sky at Sinks Canyon State Park, Wind River Country Wyoming
Millions of years ago massive glaciers carved the Wind River Range and the melting water and ice carved Sinks Canyon. Today you will find Sinks Canyon State Park a perfect location to take in some star gazing. The sandstone and limestone cliffs tower above the canyon floor and the Popo Agie River runs the entire length of the canyon. The park is known for the Popo Agie River disappearing underground at The Sinks and reappearing at The Rise. Come see the night sky as it was meant to be seen. Come to Wyoming’s Wind River Country. We’ve got Room to Breathe.
