Ride on over to Dubois, Wyoming, for a whole summer weekend of frontier fun celebrating National Day of the Cowboy and more! Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28, 2018.

The National Day of the Cowboy is a day set aside to celebrate the contributions of the Cowboy and Cowgirl to America’s culture and heritage, and there is no better place to celebrate than the real old West town of Dubois, Wyoming.

Begin the weekend with the Friday Night Rodeo at the Clarence Allison Arena at 7:30 p.m.  This family and kid-friendly event has an authentic feel to it with locals and area ranchers competing and honing their skills.

On Saturday head to the Dubois Museum for Frontier Fest.  See roping and blacksmithing demonstrations, taste the authentic chuck wagon stew and fry bread, and visit with the guides at the living history cabins. Experience the life of the mountain man through demonstrations and an exhibition.

A horse-drawn carriage with passengers, including children, travels down a street during a parade in Wind River Country.

The Taylor Scott Band is playing at Dubois Town Park at 7 pm as a fundraiser for the 10th anniversary of the Boys and Girls Club.
