The Pioneer Museum welcomes, Jess Oldham, owner of the Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary for a Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program on May 2nd at 6:30pm Learn about the Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary and the impact wild horses have made on our history, as well as today. Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary is a working ranch and this is an opportunity to learn more about what they do. This program is free and open to the public.

“Mount Hope Cemetery Trek”

The Pioneer Museum will host this Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek on May 11th at 10am.   Participants will meet at the cemetery gates at 10 a.m. then take about a mile walk total through the cemetery to learn about some of the notable Lander pioneers buried there. This trek is $10 per person. Reservations are required by calling 307-332-3373.
